How You Impact the Next Generation of Daughters: A Mother Blessing or Mother Curse

I am not a morning person. It’s 7:30 am and I am getting my annual Mammogram at the Woman’s Hospital. Babs was giving me my Mammogram and she was very talkative. She definitely did her job and kept me completely distracted with her philosophy of life. It was actually pretty hilarious. You know the drill. There you are with your beloved breast smashed like a pancake between 2 pieces of cold metal. Then they say “don’t breathe” as they take the picture. Bringing Down The Wall

Have you ever felt the wall? You know the wall between you and your daughter. It’s obvious when the wall is up. It feels icy. She glares at you. She walks past you in the hall. She is walled off in her room. You force her to talk but you get one word answers, or “I don’t know.” Sometimes she attacks you with horrible, mean words. She yells, “I hate you. You have ruined my life,” and the wall is still up.
